Dandelion Root Tea

By Nadia Marshall

Dandelion roots and leaves hold some major health benefits. The next time you blow on a puffy dandelion and make a wish, you’re helping more of these wonderful plants grow. Though, if you would like to use dandelion roots or leaves for your own personal use, it might not be a good idea to take ones from your own lawn.

This plant is known for its many health benefits, including aiding in digestion, improving liver function, clearing your kidneys, helping regulate blood sugar and insulin levels, lowering and controlling cholesterol levels, reducing inflammation in gallbladder and throughout the body, boosting immune system function, and it is rich in antioxidants that have been shown to slow down aging process in cells.
